As the country reacts to the impact of the Coronavirus outbreak, we just wanted to briefly take this opportunity to provide our customers with an update. The government has deemed all businesses operating within the DIY and hardware sectors to be essential, so we remain open for business.
As always the safety of our customers, employees and the communities we serve is paramount. This means we are closely following all government advice and have taken the steps required internally to ensure we are able to adhere to strict social distancing guidelines. Only essential members of the sales and warehouse teams will be based within the office, with remaining staff all working from home.
Our phone lines will remain open as usual, however due to the circumstances these lines may be busy. Where possible please send an email to [email protected] and we will respond to your query as soon as possible. We are committed to maintaining our usual excellent levels of service and have put steps in place to ensure we are operating at our usual capacity.
We are dedicated to following the guidance from the World Health Organisation (W.H.O) to deliver the highest standards of safety and hygiene for our staff and customers. We are continuously monitoring the developing situation across the UK and Ireland and are taking action to keep you and your teams safe. This means our external sales team have been instructed not to make any face to face calls or visits in the short term. However, they are all still fully contactable on their usual contact numbers. In addition, any deliveries will also be following our carriers social distancing guidelines.
Things are obviously changing very quickly but no matter what happens we shall remain dedicated to our customers to ensure there is as little impact as possible, for as long as possible, while keeping you updated along the way. We understand that you rely on our ability to provide products quickly and efficiently, so we are working hard to maintain our supply network, while operating safely and responsibly.
