Description
A PVC profile from ATrim, this 1.8m bathtrim will create a watertight seal between a bath and a tiled wall surface. With options available for an overtile or undertile installation combined with the durability of the PVC finish, this is an ideal profile for many bathroom installatons.
Usage
PVC is a great material for use in domestic and some commercial settings, as it is resistant to scratching and bending, whilst also being UV stable. Therefore, these PVC bathtrims are ideal for many bathsealing projects, although these particular bath trims are not suitable for use in shower areas, as the hot water could possibly distort the seal.
Installation
For ease of installation, there are both overtile and undertile trims available. The overtile bathtrim is designed for quick installation after tiling is complete, whereas the undertile PVC profile features a perforated anchoring leg to secure adhesive or mortar bond below the tiled surface. Before the trim is installed, the bath should be filled with water to ensure a complete seal is achieved.
Maintenance
One of the great benefits of choosing PVC tiling trims is that very little maintenance is required, with dirt and marks quickly removed with standard household cleaning products. We recommend avoiding the use of abrasive cleaning tools and chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
