Description
The Durabase CI++ matting is a multi-purpose solution designed to provide a one-step underlayment system for use within floor tiling. Thanks to its 3-layer construction, this matting system provides a variety of benefits, including decoupling, crack-bridging and optimised shearing force protection.
This multifunctional system can be used on most substrates including cracked concrete, timber and old or damaged tiling, if it is load-bearing. In addition, when fresh screed is poured the Durabase CI++ matting allows tiles to be laid as soon as the screed can be walked on. This makes the matting ideal for quick renovation projects, where the subsurface is not yet completely dry.
The matting is quick and easy to install, and the interwoven polypropylene underlay provides excellent stability and improved bonding to the subsurface. Simply apply a thin layer of flexible tile adhesive, place the matting on top and add another layer of adhesive for the tiles.
