How to Use LevTec Wedges
Step 1
Spread the tile adhesive and lay the tile, then position the LevTec clips beneath the edge of the tile. The clip will act as a 1.5mm spacer when pressed firmly against the tile.
Step 2
Set the adjacent tile firmly into the adhesive, butted against the clip. Slide the LevTec wedge through the clip until both tiles are firmly levelled.
Step 3
Once the tiles are locked in place, leave the clips and wedges in position while the adhesive sets. The joint width can be slightly adjusted during this stage without affecting tile height.
Step 4
After the adhesive has set, remove the wedges using a rubber mallet. Strike the clips in the direction of the joint — they will snap cleanly below the tile, leaving the surface ready for grouting.
