LTP Mattstone H2O – Water-Based Impregnating Sealer for Stone, Tile & Masonry (1L / 5L)

LTP Mattstone H2O is a high-performance, water-based impregnating sealer specially formulated to protect porous surfaces while preserving their natural appearance. With a low odour and eco-friendly formula, this product offers a safer alternative to solvent-based sealers—without compromising performance.

Ideal for interior and exterior use, it provides an invisible, breathable barrier against water, oil, grease, and stains. It subtly enhances natural colours and is suitable for use on:

  • Natural & artificial stone

  • Concrete, quarry, brick, paving

  • Honed, riven, tumbled, polished & smooth surfaces

Where to Use:

Floors, walls, patios, driveways, fire surrounds, countertops, external cladding, and more. Suitable for both domestic and commercial environments.

Application Instructions:

Preparation:

  • Ensure surface is completely clean and dry

  • For best results, pre-clean with LTP Grimex (diluted 1:10), rinse thoroughly, and let dry for 24 hours

  • Turn off underfloor heating before application

  • Shake bottle well before use

Application by Surface Type:

  • Textured, riven, tumbled, or rough surfaces:
    Apply generously with brush or sponge. Repeat hourly until surface is saturated.
    After 1 hour, wipe off excess with an absorbent towel.

  • Honed, polished, or smooth surfaces:
    Apply evenly with a lint-free cloth, lambswool applicator, or sponge.
    After 1 hour, buff off residue with a dry microfibre cloth.
    On walls, apply from bottom up to prevent streaking.

⚠️ Do not allow sealer to dry on the surface. Remove residues promptly.

Coverage (Approximate):

  • Per coat:

    • 1L covers 5–30m² depending on surface porosity

    • 5L covers up to 150m² total on low-porosity surfaces

Aftercare:

  • Sweep regularly and clean with LTP Waxwash

  • Use LTP Stonewash Spray for vertical or delicate surfaces

  • Avoid harsh detergents which may strip the protective layer

Environmental Notes:

  • Non-hazardous and ecologically sound

  • Water-soluble active ingredients

  • Empty containers are fully recyclable

  • Clean tools with warm water after use
