Application Instructions:
- Surface Preparation: Ensure the tile and grout surfaces are clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, dust, and any other debris. Perform a test application in an inconspicuous area to check product suitability.
- Application: Use the sealer without thinning. Apply a generous, even coat of UltraTile ProClean Tile and Grout Sealer to the surface and edges of the stone using a roller, sponge, lint-free cloth, or brush. Ensure even distribution by wiping over several times, removing any surface sealer that has not penetrated the tile or stone after 15-20 minutes.
- Second Coat: Apply a second coat, allowing a minimum of 30-45 minutes drying time between coats. Remove any excess sealer from the applied area with a dry lint-free cloth. The product will offer full protection after 24 hours. Until then, keep the surface free from water and oil spills, as stains may occur before fully cured.
Performance and Maintenance:
- Expected Wear: Up to 20 years on internal vertical surfaces and 5 years on external surfaces, depending on surface type, wear, and correct maintenance procedures.
