Installation
When you are ready to install this Atrim tiling trim, the perforated anchoring leg will help to secure the trim to the adhesive or mortar below the tiled surface. Once installed, the stylish brass finish will create a uniform finish, however care should be taken to prevent damage of the trim from tile adhesive, mortar and other grouting products, with setting materials removed from the area quickly.
Maintenance
The quality of the trim installation will impact the durability and lifespan of the brass finish, so it should be given a thorough clean before installation. Once installed, the natural brass finish will oxidise to develop a natural patina, although this can be cleaned with a suitable brass polishing agent. If marks do appear on the surface, a conventional polishing product will return the trim to its original shine whilst also providing a layer of protection against tarnishing.
A regular cleaning and maintenance routine will significantly prolong the life of brass, so it is always advisable to plan proper care. Although, you should avoid using too much polish as the surface can darken.
